Just days into the 90th Minnesota legislature, the legislature passed a federal tax conformity bill and the Governor signed it into law Friday. The bill aligns Minnesota’s tax code with relevant federal changes prior to tax filing season. The bill will provide around $21 million in tax cuts to over 200,000 Minnesotans, including deductions for mortgage insurance premiums.
