On Thursday, Oct. 9, we came together to celebrate what lies at the heart of our mission—partnership, generosity, and service. At the center of this gathering were two extraordinary partners: Hope House, our service provider, and John Kraemer & Sons, Inc., our dedicated Build Partner. Together, we are making Hope House, a transformative youth crisis shelter, a reality.
Honoring Our Build Partner
From the very first planning conversations to the start of construction, John Kraemer & Sons, Inc. has shown unwavering generosity and leadership. The team has invested time, expertise, and passion into the project—going far beyond the role of a builder. They have coordinated subcontractors to ensure quality craftsmanship and remain deeply committed to the mission of Hope House & the Housing First Minnesota Foundation. Their dedication sets the standard for what it means to be a Build Partner, proving that their contributions are not simply about building structures but also about creating opportunities for those in need: in this case, youth in crisis.
“As part of the southwest metro business community, John Kraemer and Sons, Inc. is humbled and honored to be a part of this impactful project. I am personally excited to be involved with the project as a Chanhassen resident and Westwood Community Church attendee. I feel this will be a very impactful and positive project that will provide housing and resources for teens in crisis in the southwest metro. We are honored to be able to partner with the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, the Open Hands Foundation, and Hope House to see this project come to life over the coming months.” -Jeff Kraemer, president of operations at John Kraemer & Sons, Inc.

The Promise of Hope House
This project will directly serve youth in crisis, offering safe housing, supportive environments, and wraparound services to help them thrive. Through Hope House’s commitment to youth and the generosity of Build Partner John Kraemer & Sons, Inc., we will create more than walls and roofs—we will create lifelines.
Because of this collaboration, we can:
- Provide high-quality, safe housing tailored to the needs of young people
- Integrate services that address education, mental health, and workforce development
- Offer an environment that fosters dignity, stability, and growth for youth in the southwest metro suburbs
- Transform challenges faced by youth into opportunities for brighter futures
“Our new Hope House represents so much more than a building—it’s a promise to teens in crisis that they are not alone. Every young person who walks through our doors will be met with love, served with dignity, and offered transformational hope. Together, we’re creating a place of safety and belonging for youth in the southwest suburbs who need it most.” –Rod Provart, executive director of the Open Hands Foundation

A Shared Journey Ahead
The event was both a celebration and a call to action. It reminded us that true impact happens at the intersection of vision, collaboration, and generosity. We are deeply grateful to John Kraemer & Sons, Inc., whose leadership and generosity are paving the way for this impactful project, and to Hope House, whose mission ensures these homes become places of healing and growth.
As we move into the first phase of construction, we carry with us the belief that every act of generosity today becomes a lasting legacy tomorrow. Because of our partners, this project will not just create a building—it will create hope for youth in need.
