The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) recently filed their appellate brief in response to BATC’s petition to remove the sprinkler mandate from the building code and further clarify the energy code options. With DLI’s brief, the next step in the timeline is the MN Pipe Trades Association’s amicus brief in support of DLI’s position, which is due in 7 days (plus 3 days for mail, so May 7).
From that date, BATC’s reply brief is due 10 days after the amicus brief. If the MN Pipe Trades uses the entire 7-day (actually 10) period and serves by mail, BATC’s reply brief will be due May 20th.
