On September 14, the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV), and Lennar were invited to the Minnesota Twins’ Armed Forces Appreciation Day. During the pre-game ceremony, MACV presented the keys to a veteran and their family for one of the Housing for Heroes homes, which was built through a partnership between MACV, the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, and construction partner Lennar.
Housing First Minnesota Foundation Board Member Paul Roecker attended the celebration, marking an important milestone for the veteran family.
The Housing First Minnesota Foundation is deeply honored to collaborate with MACV and Lennar on building homes for veterans and working towards ending veteran homelessness in Minnesota.
