Housing First Minnesota inducted its 2025 board chair at its annual meeting earlier this month at the Golden Valley Country Club. Tim Fohr, vice president of forward planning for Lennar, was elected to serve as the association’s board chair and will lead a 24-member board during his year-long term.
As board chair, Fohr will help provide strategic direction for the association’s 1,100 members and affiliate partners during his term. Fohr has long been active in both the association and the Housing First Minnesota Foundation.
As an industry leader with over 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, Fohr brings a comprehensive knowledge of the market and passion for the industry to lead the association. He is prepared to help the association continue its efforts to bring the housing industry together to advocate for homeownership in Minnesota.
Fohr started his career in homebuilding with Lennar in 2001. Since then, he has held various positions within the company, including construction management, new home sales, and division marketing manager. He currently serves as Lennar’s Vice President of Forward Planning.
The Housing First Minnesota board chair and board of directors work diligently with the engaged staff team to remove the roadblocks to construction and support housing to provide the opportunity for homeownership for everyone in Minnesota.
