Minnesota’s housing industry gathered at the BATC office Monday to discuss the proposed lead paint (RRP) rules released by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) last month.
Representatives from Minnesota Association of REALTORS (MN REALTORS), National Association of the Remodeling Industry – Minnesota Chapter (NARI-MN), Minnesota Multi Housing Association, a representative of the window and door industry, the Contractors Association of Minnesota, and the Central Minnesota Builders Association attended the meeting.
Each organization outlined how the proposed RRP Rules will affect its members.
Monday’s meeting was the second in a series of meetings with industry groups organized by Housing First Minnesota.
MDH is currently reviewing feedback on the proposed rules it released in July and will meet with interested parties, including Housing First Minnesota, on Monday, Aug. 28.
