On Tuesday, September 24, the Housing First Minnesota Foundation hosted a breakfast-and-learn event, welcoming representatives from six non-profit service provider organizations across the Twin Cities metro area. During this gathering, participants explored how the Housing First Minnesota Foundation collaborates with these organizations, which are dedicated to assisting those in need in their communities, on build projects that offer housing solutions.
The communities served by these non-profit service organizations extend from veterans experiencing homelessness and youth in crisis, to women who have experienced exploitation, to individuals with persistent mental illness, and more generally, Minnesotans experiencing homelessness and who need safe, dignified, and stable housing.
This breakfast event left our Foundation staff, our Project Committee members, and the non-profit service providers who attended, energized about all the possible ways to help those in need through our future build projects. As a responsive organization, the Housing First Minnesota Foundation is excited to stay in touch with these organizations as their project needs arise and develop.
Through collaborative efforts, we can accomplish remarkable work to fulfill our mission of providing safe housing for Minnesotans in need while supporting the missions of our non-profit service provider partners.
