Using data from government and industry partners, Housing First Minnesota’s Housing Dashboard provides a look at housing affordability, access, and inventory in Minnesota.
Highlights From August 2022:
- Regionally, Minnesota continues to have the highest new, single-family detached (SFD) median home price at $494,000, up nearly $10,000 from last month.
- Wisconsin Median New SFD: $379,900
- Illinois Median New SFD: $394,500
- North Dakota Median New SFD: $401,405
- Minnesota’s supply of existing housing increased again the month to 1.9 months, up .2 months over the previous month. A healthy market has a six-months supply.
