Highlights From December 2022
- Statewide, the inventory of existing homes fell .2 months after seeing a modest gain the previous month.
- At $511,030, Minnesota continues to have the highest median new, single-family detached home price in the region. The median new home price in Minnesota is 23% higher than in Illinois and 30% higher than in Wisconsin.
- Minnesota’s housing deficit is nearing 62,000 units and has grown 23.7 percent since 2018.
