Using data from government and industry partners, Housing First Minnesota’s Housing Dashboard provides a look at housing affordability, access, and inventory in Minnesota.
July 2023 Highlights:
- Regionally, Minnesota continues to have the highest new, single-family detached (SFD) median home price at $538,936, reversing a rare monthly price decline in June.
- Minnesota’s housing deficit increased to more than 66,400 housing units short.
- Minnesota’s supply of existing housing fell last month to 1.8 months, down .1 months over the previous month. A healthy market has a six-months supply.
