Housing First Minnesota Comments on Construction Stormwater Permit
On March 3, Housing First Minnesota submitted comments on the 2023 Minnesota Construction Stormwater Permit.
Housing First submitted several recommended improvements to the proposed permit in addition to outlining how this is the time to reduce housing costs, not add to them.
The 2023 General Permit is set to go into effect on Aug. 1, 2023.
DLI To Open Energy Code Rulemaking
In February, the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry announced it will open rulemaking on the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code for residential construction. No timeline for meetings has been announced.
Spring Load Restrictions In Effect
Spring Load Restrictions go into effect on Friday, March 10, 2023, for the Metro and Southeast regions and on Monday, March 13 for the South region.
