The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry just released Rules Chapter 1309, the Residential Building Code for the State of Minnesota. Monday’s release is the culmination of more than two years of work by DLI staff, subject matter experts, and industry members.
Housing First Minnesota’s members and staff successfully worked to keep the this the most cost friendly code update in recent history while maintain safety and durability.
The updated Chapter 1309 goes into effect on March 31, 2020.
