More than 100 Women in Construction (WINC) members boarded busses to tour the stunning homes on the Artisan Home Tour on June 9. The event, Wheelin’ with WINC, is one of the group’s most popular events each year, selling out within hours of tickets going on sale.
The day began at the Ferguson Showroom in Golden Valley before the busses were loaded and the tour headed to five homes on the Artisan Home Tour, Housing First Minnesota’s ticketed tour of high-end homes throughout the Twin Cities.
In between home visits, the women who had contributed to homes on the tour were able to share details about their contributions to the design and construction of the homes.
WINC is a diverse group of women who are dedicated to supporting and connecting women in the construction industry.
The tour group visited home No. 1 by John Kraemer and Sons, Inc.; home No. 5 by Woodale Builders, Inc.; home No. 6 by Gordon James; home No. 11 by construction2style; and home No. 12 by City Homes, LLC.
The 2023 Summer Artisan Home Tour runs Fridays – Sundays June 9-25. There are 16 new homes open to tour, with seven remodels opening the final weekend. ArtisanHomeTour.org
