HomeAid Twin Cities/BATC Housing First Foundation, together with build Partner The Kingdom Builders, celebrated the kick-off of an exciting project renovating four units of an apartment building for AVIVO.
“We are Blessed and Honored to be partnering with The Kingdom Builders to renovate these units for a great cause and Organization as AVIVO,” said BATC-Housing First Foundation executive director, Bob Bennett.
This facility houses women along with their children as they seek services for substance addiction. AVIVO specializes in proving services to women who find themselves struggling with repeated addiction relapse, co-occurring chemical and mental health diagnoses, homelessness, criminal backgrounds, or desire to re-unify with their children.
The project will include the renovation of four units in 2018. The updates will include new flooring, paint, millwork, cabinets and appliances. The first three units are scheduled to be finished by March.
