Using data from government and industry partners, Housing First Minnesota’s Housing Dashboard provides a look at housing affordability, access, and inventory in Minnesota.
May 2023 Highlights:
- Regionally, Minnesota continues to have the highest new, single-family detached (SFD) median home price at $537,634, up 13 percent year-over-year.
- Minnesota remains nearly 65,000 housing units short, up 12.9 percent year-over-year.
- Minnesota’s supply of existing housing again the month to 1.7 months, up .2 months over the previous month. A healthy market has a six-months supply.
