Highlights From September 2022:
- Minnesota is nearly 60,000 housing units short, despite a 15-year-high in new housing production 2021. The state’s housing deficit has grown 20% since 2018.
- Regionally, Minnesota has the highest new, single-family median home price, teetering at crossing $500,000.
- Minnesota has 1.9 months supply of existing housing. A healthy market has 6-months supply.
