Construction is nearly finished on the BATC Foundation and Homes for our Troops latest project of building a specially adapted home for Army veteran Marco Solt and his family. On Saturday the future yard of the Solt family received a major makeover, thanks to nearly 50 hardworking volunteers. In just two hour volunteers turned the dirt filled lot into a stunning green oasis.

The volunteers helped lay sod, pour rock, plant shrubs and trees. Southview Design did a great job laying the plans and making sure everything went off without a hitch. A special thank you to Bachman’s who donated much of the greenery.

Lunch was served by Texas Roadhouse for all the volunteers. The Solt family was overwhelmed with gratitude and the key ceremony is scheduled for November 21st!
