Housing First Minnesota Foundation has added a new team member! Sofia Humphries is the new development specialist and will focus on donor relations, fundraising, and communications.
Sofia graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in marketing and a B.A. in public relations. Then, she went on to earn her master’s in higher education and continued her professional career in admissions at Concordia Academy.
Throughout her career, Sofia fell in love with donor relations and bettering her community. New to the housing industry, Sofia was drawn to the Housing First Minnesota Foundation to help people and use her time and talents for the greater good. She’s excited to watch the Foundation grow and dive into her new role!
Outside of work, Sofia spends a lot of time with her two kids. She also loves cooking, gardening, days on the lake, and staying active outdoors.
