On Wednesday, July 30, community members, Housing First Minnesota Foundation partners, Lennar representatives and trade partners, and Spring Lake Park High School students came together in Ham Lake, to celebrate a powerful milestone—the ribbon cutting of Elevate Hope House. This inspiring event marked the completion of a project rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a shared vision to support young, single mothers and their children in Anoka County.

The home is more than just four walls and a roof—it’s a fresh start. The home was built by the dedicated students in the Construction Trades Program in the parking lot of Spring Lake Park High School with support from industry partners who donated materials and time for hands-on instruction to the students. The land development and finishing work at the homesite was made possible by the generous support of Lennar and their trade partners. This project is a testament to what’s possible when communities rally together.

At the heart of this project is the belief that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Elevate Hope House was moved to its’ permanent site in Ham Lake back in May, and has now opened its’ doors to provide shelter, support, and a pathway forward for a mother and her children.

Thank you to all who joined us to recognize this remarkable achievement—and to those who contributed their time, resources, and heart to make it a reality.
