We’d like to introduce to you three new Board of Directors members that will make great additions to The BATC Foundation leadership team. To help you get to know them, we asked: Why Do you Work for the BATC Foundation? Here’s what they had to say:
I’m excited to be on the Board to be able to both help in the decision-making to strengthen the BATC Foundation, as well as to get down to the nitty-gritty meeting our deserving recipients and rolling up my sleeves putting in lawns, painting or whatever may be needed. It is a wonderful mission to be able to support people and give them a safe and secure place to live. I’m excited about what we can accomplish this year.
Being a member of the BATC Foundation Board of Directors allows me the opportunity to support useful projects to improve the lives of people who need help with safe, affordable housing. The Foundation believes actions speak louder than words and takes on challenging projects supported by a group of dedicated construction professionals and trade partners. The work is done with a sincere desire to improve the lives of others.
My personal goal for the Foundation is to help spread the word about the good works being accomplished. There are so many ways an individual or company can participate in these life changing projects. Good people do good things in the world. The BATC Foundation is an opportunity to do a great deal of good.
I joined the BATC Foundation Board to give back to the industry that I have been involved with for the past 25 years. Helping people is something that I have always wanted to do more of, but I haven’t found an avenue for it—I believe this is that opportunity.
I feel like being part of providing safe, affordable housing for those in need is a great way for me to fill some of the void with volunteer work that I feel is lacking on a personal level. An organization like the BATC Foundation, has a great mission to be involved in to help lift up the community and support those in need, with the people and resources that we have at our finger tips!
