Raise the roof! The adaptive home for veteran Marco Solt and his family is moving along. The home is being built with the support of the BATC Foundation, Homes for Our Troops and local Build Partner Accent Homes, Inc. This past month dozens of volunteers and BATC members have been busy framing the house and installing the roof.
“We just wanted to thank BATC and everyone who got this project off the ground for allowing us to be involved. It was an honor to donate and install the Tyvek for Marco and his family. Plus, we had a pretty good time installing it!” — Ted Reiter, Hallmark Building Supplies.
Next up! HVAC, electrical, roofing and plumbing are all scheduled for this week. The project is on pace to have the home ready for the Solt family by the end of September.
The BATC Foundation would like to thank all of the volunteers and companies that have contributed so far including: Lyman Lumber, Carpentry Contractors Company, Air Mechanical, Piperite Plumbing, Aspen Electrical Inc., Hallmark Building Supplies, and build partner Accent Homes. (Sorry, if we missed any!)
