The 13th annual Housing First Minnesota Foundation Building Futures Golf Classic was a day to remember at The Wilds! While an unexpected change in weather meant we had to end our play earlier than planned, the spirit of the day never wavered. Friends, supporters, and Foundation champions of change came together for a truly meaningful day on the green. We were humbled by the incredible enthusiasm, flexibility, and generosity from everyone who participated.
Coming Together for a Worthy Cause
From the first tee-off, there was a powerful sense of unity. Teams competed in classic scramble style, keeping the mission front and center: supporting Minnesotans who need a place to call home. The course was alive with energy—creative challenges, friendly contests, and plenty of camaraderie filled every hole we were able to play.
Though the weather cut our golf time short, the day was far from over. Golfers and supporters gathered afterward for a lively social hour and dinner. Together, we celebrated our generous sponsors, cheered on tournament winners, and took part in an exciting live auction and raffle. The room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and heartfelt giving—every bid, every ticket, and every toast helping to make an even greater impact.
