Housing First Minnesota is continuing to work through the rapidly changing landscape in response to the COVID-19 virus.
Members have contacted us for guidance regarding the operations of sales centers and work sites and we want to share the following recommendations:
Appointment-Only Sales Meetings – Shifting to appointment-only meetings for the short term will help to mitigate the risk of infection for customers and our industry employees & trade partners.
Utilize Digital Technology – When possible, our industry should utilize meeting alternatives such as conference calls and teleconferencing (ie: WebEx & Zoom).
Follow CDC, OSHA & MDH Safe Workplace Guidelines – Based on these, we recommend that each model home have a cleaning schedule, as well as applicable signage and CDC entrance questions for employees and guests. The CDC, OSHA, and Department of Health have provided comprehensive guidelines for workplace safety. Please incorporate these applicable guidelines to ensure safety for all on our work sites and in our sales centers.
